Positive: Quiet, charming, comfortable, and great location just 5-10 minutes away from everything in Lower Hutt. Avalon Park just around the corner is great for the kids and for walks. We also loved the conservatory in the back, and our pets loved the chance to feel outdoors but still be indoors. Being able to bring our pets was hugely helpful.

Negative: Front door lock sticks a bit, and requires turning the key and the door knob at the same time, which is a bit of a pain if you're trying to carry groceries or anything.

Summary: A friendly, charming, and comfortable stay-- felt like a home away from home.
